"We tried Kainan sa Dalampasigan and the food was good overall, especially the seafood dishes. We ordered gambas, sinigang na bangus, one of the bilao meals with tahong and grilled pork, shanghai, lumpiang ubod, halo-halo, mais con yelo, and some fruit shakes. The food tasted good and serving sizes were decent too. My only issue is the pricing. The bilao we ordered was around ₱3,200 and honestly it felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Personally, I think something around ₱1,500–₱1,700 would’ve made more sense. But I guess part of what you’re paying for is the ambiance and location. We went on a weekday so it wasn’t extremely crowded, but there were still a lot of people dining. Service was a bit slow at times too, probably because they seemed understaffed. The place itself is nice and relaxing, though it can get pretty hot during the daytime. Overall, still a good place to try if you’re in the area and craving seafood, just don’t expect it to be budget friendly"

"This place was recommended to us and it turned out to be an excellent choice for dinner. It was conveniently located near the resort where we were attending an event. The restaurant is quite spacious and the entrance feels enchanting with beautiful lights and lush plants surrounding the area. Inside, the ambiance is even more magical. You’re greeted by a waterfall near the entrance, setting the tone for a unique dining experience. The restaurant has a charming greenhouse garden vibe, filled with vintage décor, wooden furniture and countless photos and memorabilia from the owner, giving the place a warm and personal touch. The staff were accommodating and the service was impressively fast. Every dish we ordered was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with generous portions that made the meal even more satisfying. There was something comforting about the food, as if it had been lovingly prepared and served by your grandmother. The prices are reasonable and considering the quality of the food, service and overall experience, it offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience."

"If you're looking for delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine, this is the place to visit. Every dish captures the true flavors of traditional Filipino cooking and brings you back to the rich heritage of the Philippines. The restaurant itself is beautiful and full of history, making it perfect for memorable photos while immersing yourself in a truly traditional Filipino atmosphere. You can feel the pride and dedication that has gone into preserving the restaurant's legacy a place their grandparents would undoubtedly be proud of for keeping its traditions alive. To top it all off, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, embodying the genuine hospitality Filipinos are known for. Their outstanding service made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. If I weren't limited to five stars, I would gladly give this restaurant an even higher rating. From the authentic Filipino cuisine and rich historical ambiance to the exceptional hospitality, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. This is a restaurant you simply cannot afford to miss. Whether you're a local or visiting the Philippines, it deserves a place at the top of your must visit list. Highly recommended!"

"gorgeous place with lots of seating!! clean and perfect old garden vibes. we missed it at first bc there was no sign outside but you have to go into an alley. we only had a light lunch here and ordered binalot sa dahon (which had chicken adobo and shrimp and rice), and an appetizer of lumpia. food was okay, lumpia was very good and i loved the crunch of it not too bready/wrapper-y. but the meat in the binalot was very tough. the rice and others were flavorful though."
